Set the handover date first
Decide when gifts need to reach the office or recipient. Work backwards to allow for choosing products, checking availability, approving artwork and production. Send the required date with the first enquiry so feasibility can be checked.
Make a useful recipient plan
Separate employee gifts, client thank-yous and event giveaways if their budgets or quantities differ. Review practical needs and avoid making assumptions about personal preferences. A coordinated notebook, bag or drinkware collection may be easier to specify than a highly personal gift.
Keep seasonal artwork adaptable
A design with a fixed year or event date can limit the use of surplus items. Decide whether a seasonal message belongs on the product, packaging or a separate card. Confirm the permitted brand colours and logo versions before submitting artwork.
Quote packaging and destinations explicitly
Include any presentation requirements, cards and proposed delivery destinations in the brief. Northern Ireland, Highlands and islands may need separate delivery quotations. We check the actual postcode and confirmed production plan.
Review before approving
Check the product code, colour, quantity, branding method, artwork, delivery address, total costs and timing. Seasonal catalogue listings do not establish live stock or a guaranteed Christmas delivery date.
