Use a complete order cost
The blank product is only one part of a promotional merchandise quote. Printing or engraving, the number of positions, artwork preparation, setup, packing and delivery may all affect the total. Ask for a clear breakdown for the agreed specification.
Calculate the landed cost per item
Divide the quoted order total by the quantity. For example, an illustrative total of £600 excluding VAT for 200 items gives £3 per item excluding VAT. This is an arithmetic example, not a price offered by Sandycroft Promo. Compare quotations on the same VAT basis and delivery terms.
Ask for quantity alternatives
Request a quote for the number you need and one sensible alternative. A larger quantity may spread setup costs, but surplus merchandise still costs money and requires storage. Check the minimum order shown on each product before building a pack with several items.
Compare equivalent branding
A one-position logo and a full-colour design on two positions are different specifications. Ask which method is quoted, how many colours or positions it covers and whether all setup is included. A simple logo may offer more options than detailed artwork.
Send the details that change the price
Include product codes, selected colours, quantities, the logo, postcode and required date. Mention any packaging or multiple destinations. We confirm the finished order cost before you commit.
