Read the actual material description
Look for the named material and any stated recycled-content information on the individual product. A recycled component does not mean every part of the item is recycled. Ask about supporting documentation when a material claim will feature in your campaign.
Consider use and durability
An item recipients use repeatedly can serve a different purpose from a short-lived event giveaway. Compare construction, capacity and care instructions alongside material. Choosing a useful product is a practical starting point; it does not by itself establish a measured environmental benefit.
Keep campaign wording specific
Describe verified product features rather than using broad labels such as planet-friendly. Do not add certification marks or carbon claims without the relevant evidence and permission. The team can help check the catalogue description before you approve artwork or promotional wording.
